One Redesign vs Builder.io Visual Copilot

Builder.io Visual Copilot is a Figma plugin that runs designs through an AI pipeline and the open-source Mitosis compiler to emit code for many frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte, Angular, Qwik, Solid, HTML, React Native, and SwiftUI, Flutter and Jetpack Compose in beta), with a final model pass that adapts output to your styling conventions. Its standout capability is mapping generated code onto components you already have. One Redesign exports React Native, HTML/CSS, SwiftUI, and Flutter from one canvas, each carrying the coordinates you drew. Visual Copilot is at its best when you already have a codebase and design system for it to target, while One Redesign is at its best when you want the canvas itself to be the source of truth across platforms. If you have an established component library, use Visual Copilot. If you want one design to ship identically to four platforms, use One Redesign.

Where Builder.io Visual Copilot is the better choice

Component mapping is a genuinely strong feature and we have nothing like it. If you have a mature design system, Visual Copilot can emit code that uses your actual `Button` rather than a generic one, which is the difference between code you merge and code you rewrite. Its target list is wider than ours, not narrower: more web frameworks (Vue, Angular, Svelte, Qwik, Solid, Marko) and more native ones too, since Visual Copilot also ships SwiftUI, Flutter and Jetpack Compose. Platform reach is not our advantage over Builder.io and we will not imply it is, and Mitosis being open source means the pipeline is inspectable. It also produces responsive output. For an established web team with a component library, that combination is hard to beat and we would not pretend otherwise.

Where One Redesign wins

Component mapping is Visual Copilot's whole advantage, and it needs a component library to map onto. Starting fresh, that advantage is unavailable, and what is left is how the layout gets there. Visual Copilot infers structure from a Figma file it did not create. We own the canvas, so the export carries the coordinates you actually drew and there is nothing to re-check. There is one reach-adjacent point that is fair to make, because Builder makes it themselves: their SwiftUI, Flutter and Jetpack Compose targets are labelled beta in their own docs, while ours are shipped and checked against the real toolchains on every change with `swiftc -typecheck`, `flutter analyze` and `flutter build web`. Breadth is theirs. Maturity on the native three is ours, and that is a narrower claim than the one this page used to make.

Should I switch from Builder.io Visual Copilot to One Redesign?

Switch if you are starting fresh rather than mapping onto an existing library, and you want the exported layout to carry your exact coordinates rather than an inferred structure. Native mobile is not a reason: Visual Copilot ships SwiftUI and Flutter too. Stay with Visual Copilot if you have a component library worth mapping to, need responsive output, or need a framework we do not have.
