Pick the tool that fits, even when it is not ours
Every tool in this category claims to win at everything, which tells you nothing. These pages say plainly where each competitor is the better choice, because a comparison you cannot lose is not a comparison.
The short version: One Redesign is a design canvas that exports React Native, SwiftUI, Flutter, and HTML/CSS, with every export carrying the literal coordinates you drew. That makes it exact and it makes it fixed-size, because absolute positioning is how the exactness works. What it does not make it is broader: two of the tools below cover more targets than we do. If you need fluid responsive layout, several of the tools below do that properly and we do not.
The comparisons
- One Redesign vs Figma Dev Mode Built for handoff and inspection rather than shipping components. Different category, often used alongside us.
- One Redesign vs Anima A Figma plugin with responsive web output. Better if your designs are staying in Figma.
- One Redesign vs Locofy Readable, responsive output, and the widest target list here: web frameworks plus React Native, Flutter, SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose. Better if you want idiomatic components, or a target we do not have.
- One Redesign vs Builder.io Visual Copilot Maps generated code onto your existing component library, across a wider framework list than ours including SwiftUI and Flutter. Better if you have a library worth mapping to.
- One Redesign vs Framer A publishing platform for sites, not a source-code export path. Better for marketing sites, and it is not close.
When we are the wrong answer
Two cases, stated up front so you do not have to read five pages to find them:
You need responsive layout. Our output is absolutely positioned at one device size and does not reflow. Locofy and Builder.io Visual Copilot generate Flexbox and handle this properly.
Your designs live in a Figma system that is not moving. We have no Figma import. You design on our canvas or you do not use us.
When we are the right answer
You are shipping the same application UI to more than one platform, and the recurring cost in your week is making each platform match the design and each other. That is the case we are built for. Note what we are not claiming: several of the tools below reach SwiftUI and Flutter too, so breadth of targets is not the difference. The difference is that we own the canvas, so an export carries the coordinates you drew rather than a structure inferred from a file we did not create.
